A Book of Childhood Memories

by Debra Beane

This book is a whimsical collection of childhood remembrances that, woven together, paint a picture of the simplicity of a time gone by. It often comes with age that a person recognizes whether they experienced a magical childhood or not. This book is about that magic, in the hope that it will never be forgotten.

These charming vignettes brought me right back to the dirt roads, berry brambles, and salty skin of my childhood. If you did not have the good fortune to grow up on the coast of Maine, Deb’s stories will make you wish you did.
–Elizabeth Peavey, celebrated Maine author, educator, and performer—and native Bath girl
