Keres has always served her empire, bound to it by birth and loyalty forged by years of training. About the Author

Clara Goodband was born and raised in a small town in the mountains of southern Vermont with her brother and sister and spent her summers and free time roaming the rugged coast at her family home on a remote island in Maine’s Penobscot Bay. As a homeschooled student, she was able to follow her passion of reading and writing and fulfill her dream of becoming a published author. As a recent high school graduate, she is currently enrolled in nursing school, where she hopes to complete her degree and become a pediatric nurse. She looks forward to continuing to find ways to make writing a part of her daily life.
