About the Author
Vernon C. Kelly, JR., M.D. is a psychiatrist who has lectured internationally relating the theories of affect script psychology to a variety of topics, including childhood trauma, restorative justice and other restorative practices, psychotherapeutic interventions, and emotional intimacy. His psychiatric practice has included work with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. He cofounded the Tomkins Institute with Donald L. Nathanson, M.D. in 1991 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of that organization. He is also currently a member of the Board of Restorative Practices International.
