Being in the right spot at the right time proved to be beneficial for the author. It was in this setting, coupled with his badly needing a job that he entered the McDonalds™ workforce in March of 1967. For the next ten years he witnessed and participated in the development of one of the greatest companies in the fast food industry not only in America but worldwide. He feels privileged to have known and travelled with Ray A. Kroc, founder of McDonalds™ Corporation. This is that story.

About the Author

This is Robert C. Devine’s second published book. He is a watercolor artist, still life photographer, short story writer, woodworker and gardener. Growing up in New England he moved to California after high school to attend The Brooks Institute of Photography at Santa Barbara. Upon leaving Brooks, he spent ten years with American Airlines in their flight maintenance department before joining McDonalds™ Corporation as a manager trainee in Los Angeles. He lives in Boothbay, Maine.
