About the Author

Thomas B. Dowd III is an award-winning speaker and professional development author who moved to midcoast Maine and fell in love with its natural beauty and vibrant community in 1994. Tom has been announcing as the “Voice of the U.S. National Toboggan Championships” since 2009. He wants to share the fun and excitement he sees every February with the readers of his first children’s book.

About the Illustrator
Sol Caponigro is an artist and illustrator from coastal Maine, Sol currently working on receiving a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. This is their third illustrated children’s book.
