Cecily, a lost harbor seal pup, is found by a Maine family who raise her one summer until she is strong enough to return to the wild. This story is told from the seal pup’s perspective. It is based on the author Nan Lincoln’s real-life experience, which she also wrote about, from her own perspective, in her chapter book The Summer of Cecily.
